25th Anniversary Book

The Madison Homebrewers and Tasters Guild present The Great Taste of the Midwest: Celebrating 25 Years. Over 80 full-color pages offer everything you've ever wanted to know about the creation of the Great Taste of the Midwest, how it began in 1987 and how the event grew to 123 brewers serving over 900 beers to 6,000 craft brew loving attendees.

This commemorative book will inform, describe, and evoke the pleasure you experience with every taste of craft beer.  Available at this year's Great Taste for $25.   The book by the front gate before the festival, so bring a pen, buy a copy, and get the autograph of your favorite brewer!

First review:

A thoroughly refreshing, thirst inducing behind the scenes read, chronicling the inception and evolution of this world class event. With initially just a few alike minded, spirited individuals, they single-handedly sowed the seeds, setting the stage for what has become one of the greatest craft beer celebrations world wide.

A must read for anyone who has attended the Great Taste of the Midwest or for those individuals who just appreciate the inner workings of what can be accomplished by a group of great volunteers for the enjoyment of mankind.

Do not read this book empty handed! I raise my glass to the MHTG board members and all of the hard working volunteers over the last quarter century without whom this event would not have been possible.
